Back-to-school isn't always an easy time for families. Between the hassles of the first day back at school, the nostalgia of vacations gone by too quickly, and the new rhythm to tame as a family, it's easy to forget the benefits the vacations have had on our morale.
To avoid back-to-school spleen and boost morale during this period, we've come up with "Mon calendrier de rentrée": a fun tool for parents and children to tackle the back-to-school season in good spirits!
Thanks to our "Day by Day" cards, each day you'll discover a suggestion for a family moment of complicity, as well as advice adapted to kindergarten and elementary school to start the new school year on the right foot.
The principle:
- Before the start of the new school year, the parent chooses from among the "Day by Day" cards those that seem most feasible or most likely to please his or her child. The result is a panel of some twenty cards, one for each school day in September.
- The selected pile of cards is placed on an easel, displayed in the foyer for the whole family to see.
- Each school day, we reveal the next card on the easel, to discover the surprises in store for the day ahead!
Children will love this new ritual, which extends the sweetness of the vacations until the end of September!
